This is a flat plan of my front cover. I have labelled on the main features of design: masthead, strapline, logo, minor coverlines etc. I'm planning for my main coverline to be about the dominant image - of my made up artist, Adriana. It will say 'Baddest on the Street, Baddest in the Game'. This coverline means that she is the best in the genre at this time.

In order to research the type of fonts that are used in Hip Hop magazines, I looked at the range offered by dafont.com. I also experimented with the language used by this genre at the same time for effect. I could choose to use this style in my production work.
